The Covenant

The PCA played a major role in the collaboration of the first Covenant in 1999. The second Covenant which commenced in 2005 is the principal national policy for managing the environmental impacts of consumer packaging in Australia. Negotiations have commenced on a framework for a third Covenant including a full list of signatories, Action Plans and Reports, can be obtained from the National Packaging Covenant website - www.packagingcovenant.org.au
