Comments

Taylor’s has achieved a remarkable feat: 100% carbon neutral status for their Eighty Acres wines based on an ISO 14044 compliant life cycle assessment. This is the only wine range in the world to have achieved this accolade. The undertaking of a complete Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an intricate and costly investment. Measuring of emissions at every stage of the product lifecycle is a daunting task, but until this assessment is complete, no product can honestly undertake the reduction of its environmental impact. Having measured and minimised their carbon footprint, Taylor’s then purchased Federal Government certified carbon offsets which are tightly monitored and updated every year. This impressive 100% carbon neutral status is officially badged on the wine label by a proprietary registered trademark green leaf symbol, and a panel of text further explains the commitment, proudly endorsed by the signature of the founder.
