Christopher’s use of materials has resulted in an excellent design displaying sound technical structure. Extensive research was completed into current beer packaging with interviews conducted to key stakeholders. The primary package material used is PET to replicate the current beer shape and colour bottles. This innovative secondary pack design focused on ease of transport, access to the product, display in the retailer and storage in both shop displays and domestic fridges. This design allows the bottle to lock in and rely on the tension of the card to hold it in place. The pack can be carried by the consumer in numerous ways with side handles provided. The bottles can be removed or replaced any number of times without significant damage to the secondary package. A superbly presented entry.
