Ursula and Alexandra’s entry was an excellent design, with the element of shape being used to create an innovative solution to sushi packaging. The judges described their entry as a great concept with an “awesome, creative and cool design”. The rationale, labelling and design details were of an extremely high standard that met all of the criteria set. These girls made a good attempt to incorporate their research of legal food packaging requirements for NSW into their design. The idea of using the package as a placemat was a particularly clever idea, reinforcing the idea that packaging should be considered a useful product in its own right.
