Welcome to the 2008 PCA National Schools Packaging Design Challenge
The challenge was to design packaging for any imaginary Australian product to sell in Australia.
Students worked individually or in teams of two and were required to address simple technical considerations, environmental issues, and modern society lifestyle choices. A high level of originality, creativity and innovation also helped determine the winners.
Each design was accompanied by a rationale (reasoning and design considerations). This was the most important part of the entry and judging process. It told the judges the reasons behind design choices and indicated the students’ understanding of the packaging issues that they addressed. |
