This Award is selected from one of the Gold winning entries. It will be Awarded to the student that has the most outstanding entry. Both the mock-up and rationale must be presented to an exceptional level.
ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN
Sponsored by Packaging Council of Australia
This Award is for the student that best addresses and discusses the environmental aspects of their entry including materials used, production considerations, disposal and/or alternate use(s), distribution and logistics of the pack (ie. pallet size vs transport movements). The student must explain how the products packaging will impact the environment beyond recycling.
JUDGES RATIONALE
Sponsored by Packaging Council of Australia and Australian Institute of Packaging
This Award is for the student that best produces excellence in research, documentation and presentation of their rationale. The winner will have met all mandatory requirements set in their brief and will have exceeded all the expectations as explained on pages 24 of this brochure.
