Duplicate Entries – Duplicate entries entered by different parties will be judged as one entry. If successful in winning a Gold Award both entrants will be presented at the Presentation Dinner with a designer trophy, in addition to certificates to all other nominated companies.
Eligibility – The Packaging submitted must have a significant Australian contribution in design and/ or manufacturing and/ or intellectual property.
The Entry is either in commercial production or committed to distribution prior to Friday, 16 July 2010 for the Australian market.

Insurance – It is recommended that entries of value be insured by the entrant. The Packaging Council of Australia will take all care, however, accepts no responsibility for loss or damage.
Judging – The judging panel has the discretion to change an entry in a selected category to an alternative category and/ or place entries in an additional category. The decision of the judges will be final on all matters affecting the Awards and no correspondence will be entered into on the subject of their decision. Companies or associated companies connected to a particular Judge are permitted to enter work however; the Judges in question are disqualified from judging in that specific category.
Post Judging – All entries become the property of the Packaging Council of Australia Inc, ABN 65 058 780 591, unless specifically requested, upon entry, that the sample be retained post judging for collection by entrant. The Council may, without further correspondence, use these products for promotional purposes.
Proprietary Information – It may be necessary for you to include proprietary information so the Judges can fully evaluate the entry. Information clearly marked as confidential will only be used by the Judges for the sole purpose of evaluating the entry. Other information contained within the Entry Form may be used in preparation of material for press releases, Results Brochure copy, etc.
Publicity & Display – The Packaging Council of Australia reserves the right to publish details of the winners of the 2010 Australian Packaging Awards and to display any entry in any location, to photograph and show images of the entries and to make them available to other interested parties, either in Australia or overseas.
Results – All entrants will be advised whether they are a finalist or not by Friday, 6 August 2010. Official results will not be announced until the PCA Awards Presentation Dinner on Thursday, 7 October 2010.
