HOW TO ENTER

Sponsored by:

  • Complete the registration form.

  • Choose the date you will be submitting your students work; either May 22 or June 19 and indicate this on the form. There will be a limit of 50 schools permitted to enter per category per judging period.
  • Indicate the anticipated number of students who will be working on this challenge on the form.

  • Submit your form.

  • Confirmation of your registration will be sent to you via email. Please contact Prudence if this is not received within 3 working days.

  • All correspondence from the PCA during the challenge will be conducted via email or phone. Please check your emails regularly.

  • Begin work on your entries. Schools have previously averaged between 10-25 hours of class time on this Challenge and have indicated that they would not reduce the amount of time spent in class.

  • PowerPoint Presentations and/or Word Docs must have white backgrounds as they will be printed and posted to each judge.

  • Do not include photographs of students’ faces anywhere on their work.

  • Allow enough time to assess your students work using the judging sheet provided.

  • Burn your top 2 students rationales (PowerPoint or Word Doc) onto a CD and post together with a printed hard copy to the PCA. Do not send Mocks-Ups. These
will only be asked for if your student makes it to the National Finals.

  • Post your schools top two entries to the PCA in time to be received before your chosen closing date. Late entries will not be accepted.

  • Email prudence@pca.org.au in Word format your students names so that participation certificates can be completed swiftly. All students who submit work to
their teachers will receive a participation certificate.

  • Students who make the national finalist round of judging will be required to post their Mock-Ups immediately to the PCA for the final round of judging. This Mock-Up will not be returned. Please make sure that these students have completed two Mock-Ups in order to keep one for themselves that can be used for photography or publicity purposes that your school may wish to pursue.

  • National judging concludes at the end of July and winners will be notified shortly thereafter.

  • All registrations will be acknowledged by email.
