LABEL LINK EXCELLENCE IN LABELLING AWARD

The objective of this labelling Award is to recognise and reward excellence in the design and visual quality of the label, working in conjunction with the other pack components as a finished product.

The winning entries must comply with all legal labelling requirements and express instant product recognition.

Technical precision in printing and embellishment must be of the highest standard with additional functionality, eg tamper evidence, reclosure systems, as well as environmental considerations, also being recognised when judging.

Label definition - A label is any material applied to a pack, which carries the Brand, product identifi cation and mandatory information in one or more pieces but is not part of the structural component of the pack. This also includes shrink labels, in-mould label application for plastic packs, sleeves/inserts in blister packs etc.
